Meagan has 15 years of experience working in media, technology, and software. Beginning her career at Condé Nast and then IAC/Vimeo, she developed a deep understanding of narrative platforms, and how stories shape what products consumers and media engage with. Following on her love of technology, Meagan joined Shutterstock in 2011 to lead communications and social media through the company’s successful IPO and global expansion.

Since then, Meagan has overseen marketing and communications teams for mission-driven brands including Comic Relief/Red Nose Day, and Funraise, a software platform for nonprofits. In 2018, she led the Series A for Funraise, closing $10 million in venture capital.

She currently advises early stage creative startups on positioning, go-to-market, communications strategy, partnerships, and profile building.
